Once I sketch out the design, it's the tedious process to paint. I slowly started working through small sections at a time. I started by determining what would be the primary color of the skull and then trying to visualize how the rest of the flowers and leaves would look with that primary color. I use a bit of both analogous and complimentary colors to create this entire piece.
