Porthpean is probably the best of St Austell's beaches, although a little on the small side. Backed by steep tree-topped cliffs and with clear, azure water this sandy beach can have a feel of the Mediterranean on the right day.
Cornwall - lots of mussel-covered rocks! One of the best bits about going to Cornish beaches is being able to explore all the rockpools and marine creatures which live on the rocks, and you get to see them at low tide.
Not to be confused with Chapel Porth, Porth Chapel is one of my favourite beaches in Cornwall which pretty much means its one of my favourite beaches in England. Attempting to capture the Cornish wave with a fast shutter speed and a longer focal length.
