This photograph was taken approx 22 years ago by a member of the Manitoba Camera Club. He was an elderly man who loved spending countless hours taking pictures. He gave me this copy back then, and I recently found it in my stack of photo's. I lost track of him, but I'm sure he would not mind me showing this shot to the world. Many thanks for the recent comments on my misty trees shots from the New Forest. All very much appreciated. Just to respond to a few queries - the mono conversion usually takes place in RawShooters Pro (I know it's old but I like it - I think it went onto to be something called Lightroom - wondered what happened to that?) and I just experiment with the shadow and light contrast sliders until I achieve the look I'm after.
