Many thanks for the recent comments on my misty trees shots from the New Forest. All very much appreciated. Just to respond to a few queries - the mono conversion usually takes place in RawShooters Pro (I know it's old but I like it - I think it went onto to be something called Lightroom - wondered what happened to that?) and I just experiment with the shadow and light contrast sliders until I achieve the look I'm after.
