you should definitely organize your table of contents by division of the books of the bible: law, history, poetry, prophets, gospels, letters, and prophecy. it will help you decipher what to read; for example, for quotes and encouragement you would turn to poetry and for a story you could turn to history, the gospels, or the prophets.
