No Escape: Dive Into a Black Hole (Infographic)
No Escape: Dive Into a Black Hole (Infographic) by Karl Tate - When matter is compressed beyond a certain density, a black hole is created. It is called black because no light can escape from it. Some black holes are the tombstones of what were once massive stars. An enormous black hole is thought to lurk at the center of the Milky Way galaxy.
NGC 1360 is a planetary nebula in the constellation of Fornax. It is about 1145 ly from Earth. It was identified as a planetary nebula due to its radiation in the OIII (oxygen) bands. Reddish matter, believed to have been ejected from the original star before its final collapse, is visible in images.

Camping on Antarctica
Each year 30,000 people visit Antarctica, only two thirds actually land and there are a handful of people foolish enough to camp at the bottom of the world.
