The Assan House (today "The Scientists's House"), Bucharest, Romania Built between 1906-1914 by the engineer and industrialist G. Bazil Assan, was designed in French neoclassical style by the Romanian architect Ion D. Berindey, with majestic rooms having meaningful names: Mirrors and Chandeliers Room, Chess Room, Zodiac Room, Council Room or Edison Room.
