I added the thin slice of lemon before baking as a garnish and sprinkled with a little white sugar. After baking used the glaze over the lemon slice. I made these a large muffin size - yield 7 muffins - and increased baking time to 30 minutes. I used ghirardelli chocolate chips but you can chop up a nice white chocolate bar too.
