The King Ranch
Branding time on the King Ranch. Designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1961, the King Ranch in south Texas is one of the largest ranches in the world. The ranch was founded in 1853 by Captain Richard King and Gideon K. Lewis. It is 825,000 acres large, encompassing 6 Texas counties including much of the Kleberg and Kennedy County.

TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, Stonewall, Gillespie Co, Texas - The sanctuary was built here in 1904, and existing structure was erected in 1928. Worship services were conducted in the German language until 1950. A fine example of the Gothic revival style of architecture, the church features fine details in its arched window and door openings, Gothic steeple, and original pressed metal siding. Recorded as a Texas Historic Landmark in 1989, the grounds also encompass our historical cemetery. RjW

St Peters, Boerne Texas. Boerne (/ˈbɜrni/ BUR-nee) is a city in and the county seat of Kendall County, Texas, United States, within the Texas Hill Country. Boerne was named in honor of a Jewish German author and publicist, and its population was 10,471 in the 2010 census. The city is noted for the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case City of Boerne v. Flores. Founded in 1849 as Tusculum, the name was changed to Boerne when the town was platted in 1852.
