A new crown fit for a king has been completed for the reburial of Richard III. The 15th-century style crown, which has taken 15 months to construct, is plated with gold and set with enamelled white roses, garnets, sapphires and pearls. The crown has been made by medieval jewellery expert George Easton and was designed by Richard III Society member John Ashdown-Hill, who also financed the project.
Pearl Drop Tiara made by Cartier Paris as a wedding gift for Princess Charlotte, mother of Prince Rainier, grandmother of Prince Albert. It was a gift from her husband, Count Pierre de Polignac (Prince Pierre of Monaco, Duke of Valentinois, as he became). Made of platinum, white gold, diamonds and pearls, from the Monaco Princely Palace collection, it was displayed at the Cartier exhibition “Cartier, Le style et l’histoire” at Grand Palais, Dec. 1, 2013 in Paris.
The Habsburg Peridot Parure A complete parure of peridot jewels: a tiara, a necklace, earrings, and substantial brooch. c. 1820s attributed to Köchert, who later become imperial court jewelers to the Habsburgs. Large diamond scrolls, the center of which are studded with absolutely enormous peridots. The tiara can also be supplemented with seven of the pendants from the necklace, which can be set upright atop the piece. A delicate floral motif runs through all of the pieces in the parure.
The Murat tiara with a foliate scrolls set in diamonds was made by Chaumet in 1920 for the marriage of Prince Alexandre Murat with Yvonne Gillois. It is highlighted in the centre with a baroque button-shaped natural pearl measuring approximately 25.2 x 21.2 x 20.0mm, weighing 75.84 carats, (303.37 grains) and two button-shaped natural pearls measuring approximately 16.8-18.2 x 13.1 and 17.4 - 18.4 x 12.8mm, inner circumference approximately 365mm.

For this grand occasion, Van Cleef & Arpels was commissioned to create a diamond and platinum jewelry set comprising of a necklace, a pair of earclips, and a tiara.
