Praline & Caramel dress from Chotronette. It's as if someone joined Victorian aesthetic in a 50s style with a dollop of whimsy.
The Shape of the Times
By 1842, Victoria would have been, 23, and trying to appear very grown up. The skirts are widening (as are the hips and bust line after bearing two children), and do so even more in 1847 when she would have already had five children.
Two-piece dress, Sweden, 1865. Pink silk moiré with white bobbin lace on machine-made tulle and white silk tulle. Hand- and machine-sewn. Skirt has eight panels. Hallwyl Museum, Sweden -- Reminds me of Cinderella's ballgown before her step sisters ripped it up
@janaperez4 you don't understand how badly I wish there was a day everyone would dress and act like people would in Victorian ages. I would probably were this but in black (shocker right?)
