Antonio Ciseri, "Penitent Magdalena".  That hair is stunning--and I like that it hangs down so long and heavy, covering her face, weighing her down.  I think the work is actually more expressive this way.  It also signifies shame--she wants to hide her face, and her sins, as much as she can, with her hands and bowed head but also with those thick, dark ropes.
