Poppy by Carl Larsson - poppies are such strange creatures - they bloom for a week at best. But oh, the beauty when you look inside the flower - such deep, deep colours.

Carl Larsson au Petit Palais - I saw this exhibit today in Paris. He is wonderful. My aunt introduced me to his art when I was just little. I didn't know it was here, but I recognized it immediately. What a fun surprise on my last day in Paris.
