John @ Camelia Popa create their own icons on the basis of the Byzantine canon. Proponents of the Byzantine tradition, they are innovators. This interpretation increases the expression of the sacred image. This is the power stroke, when all the viewer's attention is absorbed by the contemplation of the face of holiness. Furthermore, they is able to compose his mural assemblies adapted either to traditional or experimental architecture and thus to generate unique iconographic programs.
