Fagaras Castle, Romania; The Fagaras castle was built by Transvlvanian princes in 15 C. It is one of the most well conserved medieval castles in Romania. The castle itself has 80 rooms and is one of the strongest in Transylvania. It survived Turkish and Tartar invasions. It has three floors and five towers. The castle also has the Museum of Fagaras Country which encompasses an archaeology section, a history section and an ethnographic section.
