No one can understand exactly what you're going through because no two people are alike. All we can hope for is a little understanding, some love, and a shoulder when we need it. So, don't get upset when someone close to you seems like they don't care. They just don't know what to say be- cause they've never been there.
Be proud of how far you've come. Some people have a tendency to want to be around to reap the rewards of your hard work without ever lifting a finger to help you get there. Some people will turn a blind eye to your struggles and pretend you don't exist until better times arrive. Then they're your best friend. Where were they during your struggles?
