Lattice Cucumber on Rye
I’ve been watching friends on social media make beautiful lattice pies for years. So I thought it would be fun to try and recreate that aesthetic with more everyday food. Nothing is more every day than a sandwich, so that’s how the idea for these came about. They look wildly impressive but are easy to make. You can use any bread you prefer, sourdough, white, rye, pita, etc.
Try these weave crudités if you want a fun canapé to add to your dinner party rotation. They’re healthy, delicious and bound to impress. You can use any base you like - whipped feta, avocado, pesto, garlic cream cheese or aioli would be delicious, too. I hope you enjoy them.
