Mihaela Ivana for Project A III - JEWELY CONCEPT – Balm Ring The communion with nature stimulates in us the desire to be as close as possible to her, she awakens in us the need to be in permanent contact with her, as if in a fusion. She asks of us to allow her to offer us her benefits, and we are open to receive them. The ring is a balm for the skin of the wearer thanks to the beeswax and the essential oil it contains.
Izabella Petrut for Project A III - Time Periode: Avandguard. Fred remembers a warm summer day, in which he was observing a mooving wooden balls curtain, noticing the sound of the balls dangling, smelling the sweet and heavy intoxicating parfume mixed with cigarette smell. On the floor, in a corner, there was a dirty broken teddy bear ...
Stelian Gagiu for Project A III - The idea that gave birth to this piece has its roots in the balkan pre-christian represenatations of the vegetal world (Thracian and Getae) and it's heavily influenced by art nouveau the realization technique is a brute one, using only a few essential tools, without the usual finishing touches what i tried to achieve with this piece is a rough finish, similar to ancient jewelry, but brought into the present by galvanizing a vegetal element.
Sibelle put on her ball gown and sneaked into the large room, near the mirror; the pearl in her hair was making her beautiful eyes glow so brightly that even The Sun himself gained the wind of it and touched her subtly with his golden ray. She was gliding along the daylight smiling … I wonder why?
Loredana Cleja for Project A III - My entry for Project A is an interpretation of Aubrey Beardsley's illustration for the poster for the play “The Land of Heart’s Desire”. The Art Nouveau decorative motif, white ink on silk paper, comes to life gradually, first through insertions of silver into the resin, and eventually becomes a tangible object, in three dimensions, a semiprecious stone. The contrast between the opaque and shiny textures highlights the overlapping graphics.
Gabriela Secarea for Project A III - "La belle epoque" collection was created in Art Nouveau style - the emblematic style of the late 19th century and beginning of the 20th century. This collection is intended to be - on one hand a subjective summary of Art Nouveau artistic current from its historical exhibition point of view and on the other hand, the formal and frivolous one, "La belle epoque" collection wants to simply convey the "joie de vivre" belonging to the period.
Anamaria Dobras for Project A III - Let`s play a game: go in front of a mirror and close your eyes. Imagine that you are a dacian. Ancestors, ancestors are the sum of all the genes that make you who you are today. Or not. Regardless of the answer, the fact is that the only constant for humans remains time. The time that you can`t buy neither with golden koson, nor with plastic coins from shopping carts.
Alexandra Ungurelu for Project A III: I consider the pearl to be representative to the Art Nouveau period, illustrating the complexity of nature’s process, that which is the basis for this movement’s inspiration. In creating these pieces, using either a perfectly rounded pearl or a deformed one and adding the precious metal, forged through sinuous lines and strong arches, I wanted to render some of the traits of the Art Nouveau period in a contemporary form.
