Scărișoara Cave (Romanian: Peştera Scărişoara), is one of the biggest ice caves in the Apuseni Mountains of Romania, in a part of Carpathian chain. It is considered one of the natural wonders of Romania.
Vidraru Dam was completed in 1966 on the Argeş River and creates Lake Vidraru. The arch dam was built with the primary purpose to produce hydroelectricity. It has become a popular site for bungee jumping.
