A fantastic depiction of 'Rusalka', A mythical water spirit who lures young men into water to drown them.

Truth lies just beneath the surface by Kamil Jadczak (Sarmati) Poland Illustration Depiction of 'Rusalka', A mythical water spirit who lures young men into water to drown them.

By Zdzisław Beksiński; for Halloween I think we should replace all our hung artwork with pics like this.

Zdzisław Beksiński was a Polish painter, photographer and sculptor, specializing in the field of utopian art. Beksiński did his paintings and drawings in what he called either a 'Baroque' or a 'Gothic' manner.

this picture is so simple but yet has so much meaning to it. to me it symbolizes how depression is always hanging around (the cuff around her ankle). you feel alone (empty room around her). self harm (the bandage around her arm).

( be the girl) i was kidnapped a week ago. I was chained up and was in a white night gown. The kidnapper comes in the room. He sits in front of me with a sly smirk on his face. He slides his hand up my dress and rubs my inner thigh.
