We’ve been dreaming of a hot tub at our little cabin forever, and this summer it finally came true! It’s the perfect addition to my happy place and I’m so happy with how it turned out. We knew we didn’t want to take away any of our deck space, so we built her a deck of her own and made her look like she always belonged🥰❤️. What a whirlwind! We had a small opening between guests at Lakeside Cottage and pushed ourselves to get the old fogged up window out of the primary bedroom and a new door in that will *soon* lead to a hot tub for ultimate relaxation! Oops, I did it again….and I’m not mad about it! We got this golf cart off an auction this winter and my one request when Ryan was asking if we could buy it was that I was able to give it a makeover. My only regret is that it took me all summer to do it! One hour and 3 cans of spray paint later, I couldn’t be happier. WINDOW TRIM DIY! Did you know trimming out your windows really isn’t that hard? And we found a way to keep it inexpensive with a high end look. We use primed pine 1”x4” boards to keep costs down. If you want to save even more you can buy unprimed and use an oil based primer to prime the knots. Then the trick is to buy 1/4” x 1 1/8” boards to trim around your pine.
