Evolution of the Pin Up. This photograph recreates the later stages of the Pin Up era. Most people think of Marilyn when they imagine a pin up, but many other women had filled the position before her and continued the legacy after she died. The 1960's saw the closing chapter in the Pin Up era, with lips becoming nude in colour and the bouffant hairstyle making an appearance.
