Wallachian Officer on Horse of the Austrian army - engraving by Martin Engelbrecht. "He is wearing the lower kalpak as used by hussar troops, his red Gunjac has pointed green cuff facings, and his green trousers are decorated with early Soutache arrowheads. The boots would've been Tschismen, to at least calf lenght. The yellow saddlecloth has a scalloped edge, and a royal crown in the elongated corner. " Description from Osprey Austrian Frontier troops.

He is wearing the typical court fashion of that time period and is holding one of his Brancovenesc style sabers (this one being a kilij type saber decorated with 24 gemstones) with the inscription "You, invincible emperor, word of God, the all-master, give the crown of victory over the enemies of Voivode and faithful Lord Constantin, as [you gave it] to Emperor Constantine the Great"
