this is a blast furnace at the awesome ford river rouge facility in detroit. i have been working on getting access there for a while and almost had it, but ford's recent six-billion dollar 3rd quarter loss has put them on the defensive and now they're not talking to photographers :( ok, i admit to getting carried away with the whole sepia/grain thing lately.
